Cheyney Goulding is a practice specialising in business law, dispute resolution and property for companies, partnerships, charities and individuals.
Our ethos, whether acting for a multi-national company, an SME, a shareholder run company or an individual businessman is to find efficient solutions to commercial problems and not become involved in legal semantics.
Cheyney Goulding feel strongly that we should always act in the best practical and commercial interests of our business clients. We always seek the most efficient and cost effective route to solving our client’s problems and helping them to maintain and grow their businesses effectively within a strong legal framework.
As we focus on the client and seek longer term relationships, most of our longstanding clients know and are known by the whole Cheyney Goulding team. This gives them confidence that we are always available and understand their current issues. New clients can rest assured that our philosophy of looking after every legal aspect of their business whether it be property, litigation, wills, probate or company/commercial is brought within a holistic framework.

Costs
Since many of our clients are London based, we retain meeting rooms and working facilities in central London. However, because we are a niche practice, our main cost base can be located in Guildford, passing to our clients the benefit of lower overheads, whilst matching and exceeding the highest standards of any London firm.
We are always happy to discuss costs with clients, either in respect of a particular piece of work or in more general terms. We work at an agreed hourly rate plus VAT and disbursements. Occasionally, when a client wishes, we will work to an agreed estimate if a particular piece of work lends itself to a fixed fee.
